Monday through Friday, Nov. 26 to 30.YSU Housing and Residence Life presents the Tunnel of Oppression in Kilcawley Center’s President Suites. “Heal the World” is this year’s theme. Hours are 9 am.. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

Monday, Nov. 26, 8 p.m. The Dana School of Music presents a concert by Jazz Ensemble 2 in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center. More here.

Tuesday, Nov. 27, 8 p.m. The Dana School of Music presents a recital by Canadian-born guitarist Andrew Mah in Bliss Recital Hall on the YSU campus. More here.

Wednesday, Nov 28, 7:05 p.m. YSU men’s basketball takes on Kent State in Beeghly Center. More at

Wednesday, Nov. 28, 8 p.m. The Dana School of Music presents Jazz Combos led by Dave Kana, Ken Karsh and Jeff Bush in Kilcawley Center’s Chestnut Room. The concert will feature jazz standards and original works by students Kevin Snyder, Nate Gelfand, Rob Chase and Nick Sainato. The concert is free and open to the public.

Thursday, Nov. 29. Thursday, Nov. 29, 3 to 5 p.m. Internationally-acclaimed tenor and Youngstown native Lawrence Brownlee conducts a master class in Bliss Recital Hall. More here.

The YSU School Psychology and Counseling program sponsors a workshop for mental health professionals titled “Shake-UP: Enhancing the Therapists Role, Flexibility, Maneuverability and Effectiveness in the Therapeutic Session,” featuring Lars Brok, psychiatrist and international-renowned family therapist.
