Monday through Friday, June 17 to 21. The Summer Honors Institute for gifted and talented high school students is on the YSU campus. Participants attend a variety of courses and hands-on activities in a wide range of disciplines taught by university professors and area school educators. Among the courses: Potato Cannon, Entrepreneurship, Crime Scene Analysis, International Business, Harry Potter, and Healthcare in the 21st Century and Acting Improvisation, Designing Robots, Utica Shale: What’s It All About, Electronic Music, and Programming Robots. Through Aug. 2. “Re-Shaping Ideas, Ingenuity in 3D Technology,” a free exhibition that gives visitors a hands-on understanding of 3D printing and additive manufacturing, is on display at the McDonough Museum of Art on the campus of YSU. More here.
