For the fifth consecutive year, students in the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University have completed consulting work for local small businesses in the form of website development and social media plans.
Students will showcase their work 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 from 1:15 – 2:45 p.m. in the Schwebel Café located in Williamson Hall, home of the Williamson College of Business Administration.
Some of the student projects include a complete website development for The Pink Bow Cookies To Go in Poland, Ohio, Quality PetMart in Austintown, Dillan Well Drilling in Darlington, Pa., Lucianno’s Café and Banquet Center in Austintown, Rappid LLC in Poland, Ohio, and social media plans for Creative Corner Learning Center in Canfield and the entertainment services of DJ Hank in Youngstown.
The projects were part of the student’s degree coursework and contributed to the economic development of more than seven local businesses. Collectively, students’ effort and work through these projects have contributed more than $10,000 of services to help with the commercial expansion of local businesses.
