Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m. The YSU Department of Art presents a lecture by Polish artist Leslaw Tetla, head of the Interdisciplinary Actions Studio and Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Poland, in Bliss Hall, Room 0018. Tetla is a winner of the Ministry of Culture and Tadeusz Kulisewicz Foundation scholarships, awarded at the XXIII edition of the Polish Contemporary Painting Festival in Szczecin. He is the 2016 Cleveland State University Visiting Polish Scholar and Kosciuszko Fellow.

Tuesday, Oct. 25, 6:30 p.m. High school students planning to attend college, and their parents, are encouraged to attend a workshop to learn the basics about applying for financial aid. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 7 p.m. The documentary film “How to Let Go of the World and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change” is screen in Cushwa Hall, Room B112. Free and open to the public, screening will be followed by Skype Q&A with director Josh Fox. The event is part of the YSU Lecture Series on Energy and the Environment.

Wednesday, Oct. 26, 12:15 p.m. The YSU Percussion Ensemble performs a free Music at Noon concert in the Butler Institute of American Art.

Thursday, Oct. 27, 4 p.m. Dana School of Music guest artist tenor Michael Pegher conducts a master class in Bliss Recital Hall. Free and open to the public.

Thursday, Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m. The YSU Jazz Combos perform in Bliss Hall’s Spotlight Theater. The concert features music by four Jazz Combos led by YSU faculty Dave Kana and Theron Brown.
