Check out what's happening this week at Youngstown State University.Monday, May 12, 6 p.m. The YSU Board of Trustees meets in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.

Tuesday, May 13, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Penguin Regatta comes to YSU as local high school teams compete in the Beeghly Natatorium. More Here.

Wednesday, May 14, approximately 4:30 p.m. Welcome ceremony as YSU hosts the traveling Vietnam Wall.  Thursday, May 15, 2 p.m., opening ceremony. Saturday, May 17, 8 p.m., candlelight vigil. Sunday, May 18, noon, closing ceremony. More Here.

Saturday, May 17. Commencement in Beeghly Center on campus. The ceremony for undergraduate students is 10 a.m., followed by the ceremony for graduate students at 2:30 p.m. More than 1,300 students will graduate at the ceremonies. More Here.

Thursday, May 15, 5:30 p.m. YSU baseball starts a three game series against Valpariso at Eastwood Field in Niles. Games also 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, and 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17.

Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17, 8 p.m. YSU’s Ward Beecher Planetarium presents “Skywatchers of Ancient Mexico.” The planetarium also presents “Wilbear’s Adventure” at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 17. Free.
