Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music, in partnership with Stambaugh Auditorium, presents the annual Leonardi Legacy concert 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in Stambaugh Auditorium’s Anne Kilcawley Christman Memorial Hall.
The concert, which recognizes the contributions of the founder of the YSU Jazz Studies Program, Tony Leonardi, features the faculty of the YSU Jazz Studies Program in various musical presentations, from duos to large ensembles. The concert will include Jeff Bush, trombone; Kent Engelhardt, saxophone; Matt Ferraro, saxophone; Dave Kana, saxophone; Ken Karsh, guitar; Dave Morgan, bass; and Glenn Schaft, percussion.
A pre-concert reception sponsored by the YSU Foundation begins at 6:30 p.m., featuring the YSU student jazz combos.
Admission is $5. YSU students will be admitted free with a valid YSU ID.
