History Across the Humanities Conference Feb. 12 and 13 on campus

Screen Shot 2015-02-05 at 3.30.46 PMAbout 100 students and faculty from across the region are expected to attend the History Across the Humanities Conference on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 12 and 13, at Youngstown State University.

Presented by Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, the conference will include workshops, panel discussions and student presentations and feature a keynote address by Patricia N. Williamsen, executive director of Ohio Humanities, at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Youngstown Historical Center of Labor and Industry on Wood Street.

Among the topics are: Technology and the Humanities; Sources, Citations, and You; Resume and CV Writing; Presenting a Paper: Speech Tips and Paper Preparation; Book Reviews: A How-To; Leveraging Your Humanities Degree; Mock Interviews
and What to Expect When You’re Expecting a Diploma.
