U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan discusses “mindfulness” during a presentation at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Youngstown State University.

Ryan is the author of A Mindful Nation and an advocate for promoting and engaging in mindfulness. He will discuss how the practice of mindfulness can help leaders thrive in an age of high stress, extreme pressure and dealings with complex systems.

The first 200 registrants will receive a copy of the book. Ryan will be available to sign books following the event. Books have been provided by the James and Coralie Centofanti Center of Health and Welfare for Vulnerable Populations at YSU.
