The online MBA degree from the YSU Williamson College of Business Administration is included on the list of 2014 Most Affordable Business Degrees developed by OnlineU. The list is online at www.OnlineU.org.
“We recently completed extensive research into the cost of attending different online colleges to enable students to find the most affordable online degrees in business,” said Kimberly Wetter, head of marketing at SR Education Group, a Kirkland, Wash.-based company that focuses on creating online education and career-related resources.
“With the average price of college skyrocketing, forcing many students to rely on student loans to fund their education, we were impressed with Youngstown State University’s ability to continue to offer an online business degree at a reasonable price.”
Wetter said OnlineU’s mission is to refocus the higher education conversation around affordability and quality and make access to online college information more transparent.
It is the second time in a month that YSU’s online degree offerings have been cited for their affordability. AffordableCollegesOnline.org earlier this month included YSU on its national list of Online Colleges That Win on Affordability.
YSU offers seven fully online degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Science, Allied Heath
- Bachelor of Science in Applied Science, Public Health
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Respiratory Care
- Master of Science in Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice Management and Program Planning
- Master of Science in Education, Early Childhood Education
- Master of Science in Engineering, Management option
