YSU Sustainable Energy Forum June 2 and 3 on campus

sustainable-energyThe sixth annual Youngstown State University Sustainable Energy Forum will be Monday and Tuesday, June 2 and 3, in Kilcawley Center on the YSU campus.

The forum focuses on sustainable and clean energy technologies that are being successfully implemented within the region, natural gas and water resources, and the impact that additive manufacturing will have on energy and energy technology.

A discussion by a panel of experts from the NASA Glenn Research Center is on the agenda, along with presentations on additive manufacturing and 3D printing, sustainable manufacturing, and innovative shale and oil technology. The luncheon speaker is Trudi Hable, director of Americas Sales, Energy & Utilities Industry at Siemens PLM Software. U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan is also expected to attend.
