Deanna Hardy of Newton Falls, a senior in human resource management, and Kaitlin Rohrs of Liberty, a senior in marketing management, represented Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration at the Beta Gamma Sigma Student Leadership Forum in Jacksonville, Fla., in February.
The event brings together student members from colleges and universities around the world for a chance to improve their leadership skills.
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Only 5 percent of business schools around the globe have this accreditation. Since the YSU Beta Gamma Sigma chapter was installed in 2000, 491 business students have been inducted into this prestigious organization.
