Workshops focus on YSU student engagement survey

NSSE_Logo copyYoungstown State University’s results from the National Survey of Student Engagement will be highlighted in a series of workshops this week by the YSU Office of Assessment.

Nearly 1,000 YSU first-year and senior students responded to the NSSE survey, which asks students about their experiences and practices known to positively impact engagement, retention and success.

Overview results will be discussed at workshops 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 and 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. The workshops are in the Gallery of Kilcawley Center. Additional “Lunch and Learn” workshops looking at specific topics in the survey will be held on Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. throughout the spring semester Room 359 of Tod Hall.
