Monday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m. Press conference to announce $1 million gift to YSU will be held in the Gallery of Kilcawley Center.

Monday, Oct. 29, 4 p.m. The YSU English Department and Writing Center celebrate the release of a new publication called CROW, or Compose: a Review of Writing, at the Lemon Grove, 110 Federal Plaza West in Youngstown. The publication features writing from students in YSU composition classes. More here.

Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2 to 4 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 1, 5:10 to 7:50 p.m. Liz Smith, a sculptor and potter, will conduct workshops in the Bliss Hall Ceramics Studio Room 1059. Smith will also lecture at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 in the McDonough Museum of Art. More here.

Tuesday, Oct. 30, 4 p.m. The YSU Department of Art’s Visiting Artist Lecture Series presents Ali Momeni in a public lecture in Room 3000 of Bliss Hall on the YSU campus. The lecture is free and open to the public. More here.

Friday, Nov. 2, 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. YSU hosts a Faculty Summit on Student Engagement in the Presidential Suites of Kilcawley Center. More here.

Friday, Nov. 2, 6 p.m. YSU’s Warren P. Williamson Jr. College of Business Administration hosts the 17th Annual WCBA Alumni Banquet in Williamson Hall.
