Crash DayMonday, June 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. YSU presents the Summer Edition of Crash Day, the opportunity for prospective students to visit campus, explore buildings and learn about academic offerings and activities. Monday through Friday, June 17 to 21. The Summer Honors Institute for gifted and talented high school students is on the YSU campus. Participants attend a variety of courses and hands-on activities in a wide range of disciplines taught by university professors and area school educators. Among the courses: Potato Cannon, Entrepreneurship, Crime Scene Analysis, International Business, Harry Potter, and Healthcare in the 21st Century and Acting Improvisation, Designing Robots, Utica Shale: What’s It All About, Electronic Music, and Programming Robots. Through Aug. 2. “Re-Shaping Ideas, Ingenuity in 3D Technology,” a free exhibition that gives visitors a hands-on understanding of 3D printing and additive manufacturing, is on display at the McDonough Museum of Art on the campus of YSU. More here.
