Lectures by historians, a noted forensic pathologist and theater experts are featured in Youngstown State University’s Spring 2013 Alumni Lecture Series.
Faculty, staff, students and the community are welcome. The cost is $5 for Alumni Society members and $7 for non-members. Hors d’oeuvres are included.

The following lectures are scheduled:
Thursday, April 11 – “Effects of the Iron and Steel Industry on Youngstown” by Donna DeBlasio and Martha Pallante, professors in the YSU Department of History. The lecture is at 6 p.m. in the Youngstown Museum of Labor and Industry on Wood Street.
Tuesday, April 30 – “The Role of the Forensic Pathologist in Controversial Cases” by Cyril Wecht, a noted forensic pathologist who has been a consultant in numerous high-profile cases. The lecture is at 5:30 p.m. in the DeBartolo Stadium Club.
Thursday, May 9 – “Behind the Scenes Look at YSU Theater” by Scott Irelan, chair of the YSU Department of Theater and Dance, and Ph.D. and Jane Shanabarger, associate professor of Theater and Dance. The lecture is at 5:30 p.m. in Ford Theater.
