Youngstown State University business students interview with area employers on Friday, March 22, during the Spring 2013 Williamson College of Business Administration Interview Day, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Williamson Hall.
Students have the opportunity to interview with both regional and local employers for internships and co-op positions. More than 43 percent of WCBA graduates complete an internship through the assistance of the Professional Practice Program, located in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services in the Williamson College of Business Administration. The internships are often short-term, project-specific work opportunities that allow students to earn college credits toward graduation. Students gain hands-on career experience in their major area, which enhances their professional resume and makes them more marketable.
Participating organizations include public accounting firms, state and local government, public relations agencies, Fortune 500 corporations, marketing firms, brokerage firms, banks and financial institutions, investment groups, manufacturing companies, consulting firms, non-profit organizations and retail establishments.
Companies and organizations interested in learning more about internship and cooperative education opportunities should contact Gwenn Clark, coordinator of Professional Practice Program, at 330-941-3660.
