Tickets will be required to attend Youngstown State University’s spring undergraduate commencement at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, in Beeghly Center.
Youngstown native Ed O’Neill, star of the hit TV show “Modern Family” who attended YSU, will give the commencement address.
Tickets will be distributed to graduates when they pick up their caps and gowns Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 6, 7 and 8. There will be a limit of six tickets per graduate. Any remaining tickets will be distributed to graduates 2 to 5 p.m. May 13, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Everyone will need a ticket to gain entrance. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
The university is also planning to make the ceremony available for viewing through a live Internet stream. Extra seating and viewing of the ceremony via the stream will be available in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.

Tickets are not required for the graduate ceremony, which is 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, also in Beeghly Center.
