Tuesday, March 12, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The 15th annual Northeast Ohio Robotics Education Program Competition will be held in Beeghly Center on the YSU campus. More here.

Wednesday, March 13. The YSU Board of Trustees meets on the following schedule on the first floor of Tod Hall: 2 p.m., Executive Committee, Manchester Room; 3 p.m. Board Meeting, Board Meeting Room. After the board meeting, a reception will be held for outgoing board members, Scott Schulick and Joshua Prest.

Wednesday, March 13, 7:05 p.m. The YSU women’s basketball team plays in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament in Beeghly Center. More at www.ysusports.com.

Thursday, March 14, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. High school students gain experience operating virtual companies when YSU’s Williamson College of Business Administration hosts the fourth annual Junior Achievement Titan Business Challenge. More here.

Thursday, March 14, 6 to 8 p.m. Dr. Armon Shayesteh, well-known expert on nutrition, weight loss and wellness, is the featured speaker at the “It’s Not About Weight Management – It’s About Waist Management,” at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman. The program is presented by the Eastern Ohio Area Health Education Center and the YSU Metro College. More here.

Saturday, March 16. The Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor sponsoring the following workshops: 10 a.m. “Capturing Your Family’s Oral History,” and 1 p.m. “Your Immigrant Ancestors,” presented by Donna DeBlasio and Martha Pallante, YSU professors of History. The cost is $10 per person per workshop. The Center, known as the Steel Museum, is located at 151 W. Wood Street in downtown Youngstown. More here.
