Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 22 and 23. YSU presents the second annual Ignite, an event to help first-year students get to know, faculty, staff and each other in preparation for the year ahead. For more information, contact First Year Student Services at 330-941-2131.

Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2 to 6 p.m. Hundreds of computers, monitors, keyboards, printers and various other electronic surplus items will be on sale in Room B232 in the basement of Cushwa Hall on campus. The sale is open to the public.

Wednesday, Aug. 24. First day of Fall semester classes.

Friday, Aug. 26, 4 p.m. Penguins volleyballers take on Ball State in Beeghly Center. The team also plays Murray State 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 in Beeghly Center.

Saturday, Aug. 27, 3 p.m. Get in the Penguin spirit at the annual “Meet the Marching Pride” celebration in Stambaugh Stadium.
