Registration deadline is April 5 for the Sisters in Red program on Saturday, April 12, in Kilcawley Center.
The program offers a full slate of health-related activities and speakers, including free blood drawings, blood pressure checks, bone density screenings, and Yoga and exercise fitness classes. The event also features five professional speakers addressing various health issues, including a keynote luncheon address by Dr. Maryann Echols titled “How To Manage Stress.” Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the participants.
The program is sponsored by YSU, the Youngstown Chapter of Links Inc., Humility of Mary Health Partners, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, The American Family Health Insurance, the American Heart Association Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Junior Civic League. Forty venders representing various health initiatives will do demonstrations.
