Faculty members can now create their own personal/professional home page through ContentM, YSU’s content management system.
“We have developed a template that allows any faculty member to easily set up their own home page,” said Bob Tupaj, YSU webmaster. “Not only will this allow faculty to better communicate with their students, but it also allows the wider world to learn about our faculty and their many academic pursuits.”
Faculty can post their office hours, contact information, educational background, research interests, published articles, course resources and photos, as well as blogs and Twitter panels, all in a format that is easy to use and attractive, Tupaj said.
No specialized software is required, only a web browser. Once the page is published, it is automatically associated with the faculty member’s college. Each web page also has a customizable URL.

The template is also open to YSU staff members who are serving as limited service instructors.
