Dana Symphony Orchestra in concert Feb. 24

Youngstown State University’s Dana Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of John Wilcox, performs a winter concert 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24 at 8 pm in Stambaugh Auditorium.

Featured in the concert are winners of the Dana Young Artist Competition: tenor Victor Cardamone, guitarist Philip Monrean and trombonist Lauren Eisenreich, performing Mozart, Rodrigo and Larsson, respectively. The second half of the program will feature Gustav Holst’s monumental work, The Planets.

Tickets are $5, $4 for students and senior citizens, and free for anyone with a valid YSU ID.
