The Youngstown State University Office of Career Services presents Spring 2013 Career Fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on the YSU campus.
More than 80 employers from a variety of industries are scheduled to attend, many actively recruiting for current openings. The Career Fair is open to YSU students and alumni.
Students are encouraged to pre-register by calling Career Services at 330-941-3515. All pre-registrants will receive an electronic “Career Fair Survivor’s Guide,” which includes a preview of the program booklet and expedited check-in with a pre-printed nametag the day of the Career Fair. The first 100 students to pre-register will also receive a copy of the book “Life After College. Explained,” and a supply of resume paper.
“We encourage all students to attend the Career Fair, but this is a must for senior students,” said Jennifer Johnson, director of Career Services. “This is an opportunity for graduating seniors and recent grads to meet with employers who have immediate hiring needs. It is also a good forum for underclassman to network with employers for internship and future professional employment opportunities.”
Attendees should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume.
