Benefit Bash for Rookery Radio

Rookery Radio, the student-run Internet radio station at Youngstown State University, hosts the first Rookery Radio Benefit Bash on Saturday, March 24, at the Lemon Grove in downtown Youngstown.

The event will feature new music from local bands and a silent auction (including Cleveland Indians tickets and concert tickets). Rookery t-shirts will be available for sale for the first time.

There is a $5 cover charge, with all of the proceeds benefiting Rookery Radio.

Live music will be provided by local bands Tweek Tronic, Neon Avenue (, Words First (, Jake Simmons and the Little Ghosts ( Comedians, and Rookery Radio student DJs, Jesse Huber, Jay Mills and Eric Lewis will provide entertainment between sets.
