The Hope Foundation presents its 10th annual Game of Hope Charity Basketball Classic and the new Roth, a Sodexo Company, Kids Fun Zone on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Youngstown State University’s Beeghly Center.
Doors open at 2 p.m. for the Kids Zone. Basketball game tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Teams are comprised of elected officials, community leaders and media from the region. The annual charity basketball classic benefits the Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, a non-profit organization that raises funds to benefit chronically/terminally ill children. New to the event this year is Roth, a Sodexo Company: Kids Fun Zone, which will have inflatables and activities for the kids prior to the game.
The event is sponsored by television stations WKBN 27 First News & FOX Youngstown; WYTV & MyYTV; radio stations 95.9 KISS-FM, MIX 98.9 and News Radio 570 WKBN; UAW Locals 1112 & 1714; NEOEA (North Eastern Ohio Education Association), Lamar Advertising Company and Minuteman Press.
